      Working with partners to increase equitable access to healthy foods for New Jersey families. 

      Accessible, nutritious food is essential to achieving health. Yet hunger and food insecurity continue threatening the health and wellbeing of many New Jerseyans, especially families of color.

      As part of our commitment to advance health equity in New Jersey, we support efforts to help end hunger, enhance equitable access to healthier food retail options in under-resourced areas, and improve food security in our home state.

      Accessible food sources are a key component of health equity, but according to recent reporting, 1 in 12 households in New Jersey did not have enough to eat during the COVID-19 pandemic.
