RWJF Boilerplate
RWJF is a leading national philanthropy dedicated to taking bold leaps to transform health in our lifetime. To get there, we must work to dismantle structural racism and other barriers to health. Through funding, convening, advocacy, and evidence-building, we work side-by-side with communities, practitioners, and institutions to achieve health equity fast and pave the way, together, to a future where health is no longer a privilege, but a right.
What We Fund
Our grantees and partners are critical to achieving our vision of a Culture of Health, rooted in equity, where every person has a fair and just opportunity to live their healthiest life possible. In support of this mission, we concentrate on four broad areas of investment and action:
- Health Systems: Helping hospitals, health departments, insurers, community groups, and others work together to better understand and improve health equity and achieve better health for all.
- Healthy Communities: Supporting those working to create communities where the physical, economic, and social conditions ensure all residents have a fair opportunity to thrive and live their healthiest life.
- Healthy Children and Families: Working to ensure that all parents and caregivers have the resources they need to ensure their children and families can thrive.
- Leadership for Better Health: Supporting and connecting change leaders nationwide who are working toward building a Culture of Health.
